It is of critical importance for the performance of monitor-type loudspeakers to have them positioned at the correct height. Additionally, since this type of speaker is often relatively light in weight compared to floor-standing units, it is essential to maintain high stability and rigidity. And, as with all components, proper decoupling must be considered. The Solidsteel SS Series fulfills a longstanding need regarding the proper setup and enjoyment of monitor speakers, and must in many ways be considered as important as the units they support.

Three-leg speaker stand, fillable steel frame with a crimped steel bar inserted, with anti-resonant finish. MDF top plate in black matte finish, supported and isolated on precision ball bearings. Height-adjustable, stainless steel spikes.

The stainless steel structural tubes incorporate crimped steel bars at the end of each tube, and are coated with either silver or black anti-resonance paint. The dimensions of the racks, and the shape of the cones are all chosen to maximize sonic benefits. Each 4-legged rack is equipped with adjustable leveling spikes, and are fillable with lead, sand, or Microbearing steel to further enhance their performance.

Specifications:
The structure and diameter of the three vertical tubular supports are identical to those found on our flagship Series Six tables.

The stainless steel spikes are removable to allow the frame to be filled with sand, lead shot or other similar types of damping materials.

At those points where the frame supports the top plate, high-precision ball bearings are utilised, providing an exceedingly high level of speaker isolation.

This top plate is interchangeable, ensuring a high degree of optimisation with the greatest number of monitor loudspeakers.

The SS stands are supplied with Blu-Tack, a sonically neutral material used to properly affix the speaker to the top plate.
